  Worst Meal Ever !!!!!
  We visited here on tuesday lunch time for a lunch
  as we was passing through the cotswolds
  We ordered 4 fish & Chips & 1 burger
  After a 45 minute wait are food arrived cold and greasy which we imformed the waitress she went toget us some more peas etc then i had just taken my first bite of my burger it was cold and undercooked i dont mind my burger a bit pink but it needs to be hot my onion rings where cold and limp
  The fish was not cod as advitised by the menu all 5 of us where very sure 2 of our party are chefs and 2 work in fish industry so we all know what we are talking about
  there was no offer of some money back or free drink we left nearly all our food even after the second attempt of them cooking my burger was just put in the microwave with some more cheese and then put in new bun which tasted stale the burger was just crumbling apart so we just left
  we all was still tasting grease for the rest of the day and this is due to the fryer obviously needed cleaning
  We emailed the owners directly before writing this review
  There response was not very satisfying and really should consider clients are the most important thing of the trade
  Please stay away 45 minutes for food is redicious in the email reply the blamed the wait on a fryer fault why wasnt we imformed on this when ordering food my oppinion is they have far to much fried food on the menu for there fryer to handle
  Its just seems to me they are goving for quantity over quality on the menu
  Save you money

  Accommodation was very nice. Breakfast was very nice. Evening meals were very poor - obviously a different chef in the mornings to the evening. Pub closed at 9.00pm on the Saturday night!! We had horrendously noisy neighbours above us on the 2nd night which sounded like they were moving furniture constantly from 6.00pm til midnight....As the pub was closed we tried phoning the pub but it went to answer-machine (there was nobody occupying/living in the pub that weekend. We therefore tried to phone the mobile no. given in the general rules/regulations etc. brochure - this no. was invalid.....A couple of emails on return and a letter in the post - still no response. Definitely don't recommend it.
